38th Guards Howitzer Artillery Regiment var en militär enhet av Sovjetunionens väpnade styrkor i det stora fosterländska kriget .
Historik
Regementet bildades genom att omvandla 879:e kårens artilleriregemente i maj 1942 på Kalininfronten till 38:e gardets artilleriregemente, omorganiserat till ett haubitsregemente i december 1944.
Som en del av den aktiva armén från 1942-09-05 till 1944-11-18 och från 1945-02-21 till 1945-11-05.
1942-1944 stred han som en del av 2nd Guard Rifle Corps i regionen Velikie Luki , Nevel , Polotsk , sedan i de baltiska staterna .
I november 1944 tilldelades han reserven, blev en del av 52nd Guards Divisional Artillery Brigade.
