Bardolph, Hugh, 1:e baron Bardolph
Hugh de Bardolph ( eng. Hugh de Bardolf ; 29 september 1259 - september 1304) - engelsk aristokrat, 1:e baron Bardolph från 1299.
Biografi
Hugh de Bardolph tillhörde en gammal familj som ägde mark i East Anglia . Han var son till William de Bardolph och Juliana Gurnay. Hugh ärvde sin fars gods 1289 och sin mors 1295. Det är känt att han blev adlad och deltog i kung Edward I :s krig i Skottland och på kontinenten. Den 6 februari 1299 kallades Bardolph till parlamentet [2] , och denna händelse anses vara början på historien om baronin Bardolph .
Sir Hugh var gift med Isabella Aquillon, dotter till Sir Robert Aquillon och Joan de Ferrers. Detta äktenskap producerade en son , Thomas, 2:a baron Bardolph [3] .
