Pennitsy

Pennitsy [2] [3] eller saliv [2] ( lat.  Aphrophoridae )  är en familj av insekter . Över 900 arter.

Distribution

Universell. Det finns cirka 30 arter i Europa. För Sovjetunionen indikerades 11 släkten [4] .

Beskrivning

Små homoptera-insekter, längd 6-15 mm [5] . Huvudet är brett. Bakbenen är hoppiga. Larverna lever av växter i de skumklumpar de bildar, där de smälter till vuxna [4] .
