Dana Rebecca Arnold ( född  Dana Rebecca Arnold ; född 1961 ) är en brittisk konstkritiker och arkitekturhistoriker . Professor i teori och arkitekturhistoria vid Middlesex University . [1] , gästprofessor vid International Research Centre for the Preservation of Chinese Cultural Heritage , Tianjin University . [1] Författare till bästsäljaren A History of Art: A Very Short Introduction [1] , publicerad på engelska, arabiska, bosniska, holländska, grekiska, spanska, kinesiska, portugisiska, ryska, svenska och japanska.

Biografi

Tog examen från Barlett School of Architecture University College London .

1997 - 2002 -  redaktör för den internationella vetenskapliga tidskriften Art Historyutgiven av Konstvetarförbundet .  [1] [2]

Från 1995 till 1999 var han  universitetslektor och chef för Center for Research in Architecture and Decorative Arts vid University of Leeds .

1999 - 2012 -  professor i arkitekturhistoria vid University of Southampton [3] , chef för Center for Research on Architecture and Urbanism vid University of Southampton [3] ,

Hon var forskarassistent vid Yale University , Cambridge University . På Getty Research Institute Getty Center på Getty Museum , där hon arbetade med ett utställningsprojekt för invigningen av Getty Villa i Malibu . Hon har också varit gästprofessor vid universitet i USA, Kanada och Storbritannien.

Tillsammans med belgaren Turan Özkaya och Elvin Altan Ergut , under överinseende  av British Academy, University of Southampton och Middle East Technical University , arbetar han med det internationella projektet "Ambivalent Geography". [1] [4] 

Medlem av förlagsstyrelsen för British Politics Review of the British Political Society i Norge.

Behärskar franska flytande, kan läsa italienska och arbeta på latin.
