Iapigider [2] , eller yapiks [2] ( lat. Japygidae ) är en familj av diplura . Det finns inga vingar eller ögon. Det sista segmentet av buken är starkt sklerotiserat, stort, med korta tångformade cerci . Munapparaten gnager, helt nedsänkt i huvudkapseln. Antenner långa, filiformiga. Käkpalpen består av 2 segment. Tarsi 1-segmenterad. Thorax med 2 kragepreskleriter (dorsal och ventral) och 4 par bröststämpel. Predatorer som attackerar små jordartropoder [3] [4] [5] . Australiska arter är 5-28 mm långa [6] , Atlasjapyx atlas Chou et Huang från Kina - upp till 60 mm [7] .
