"The Satanic Bible" ( eng.  The Satanic Bible ; "Black Bible" [1] [2] ) är en bok skriven av amerikanen Anton Szandor Lavey 1969 [1] .

"Det hjälper till att rama in uppfattningen att den konventionella bilden av en satanist som någon sorts frimurerisk mumlande typ är felaktig. Den sataniska bibeln är ett sammanhängande, rationellt verk som beskriver ett trossystem som är av stort intresse för tonåringar. Enligt satanister finns det inget efterliv , åtminstone inte ett himmelskt , så man måste skynda sig att njuta av jordiska nöjen. LaVey förbinder ganska tydligt satanismens återuppkomst med kulten av kroppsliga begär, överseende med köttsliga begär, karakteristiskt för populärkulturen . I grund och botten är satanism det ultimata uttrycket för materialismen och hedonismen i den moderna västerländska civilisationen.”
