Threadgold, Warren
Warren T. Treadgold ( född 30 april 1949 , Oxford ) är en amerikansk medeltida historiker som specialiserar sig på Bysans historia . Sedan 1997 professor i bysantinska studier vid Saint Louis University .
Biografi
1970 tog han examen från Harvard University med en Bachelor of Arts-examen, och sju år senare försvarade han sin doktorsavhandling här. Han fortsatte med att undervisa vid UCLA , University of Munich , Stanford , Free University of Berlin , Heasdale College, UC Berkeley och Florida International University . Författaren till ett stort antal vetenskapliga artiklar relaterade till Bysans historia ( politiska , ekonomiska , sociala och militära ), såväl som historieskrivning, inklusive tidig historia , om vilken han också skrev en flitigt citerad bok.
