Historik

Rising Star Games grundades den 10 juli 2004 av Martin Defries som ett joint venture mellan Bergsala Holding och det japanska förlaget Marvelous Entertainment [1] [2] [3] . Marvelous Entertainment sålde sin 50-procentiga andel i Rising Star Games till ett annat japanskt förlag, Intergrow, i januari 2010 [4] . Rising Star Games öppnade ett USA- kontor i Kalifornien i januari 2012 [5] . Thunderful förvärvade Rising Star Games från Bergsala Holding i juli 2018, varefter Ed Valiente blev VD och Defries lämnade företaget [6] .
