Nacon  (tidigare Bigben Interactive ) är ett franskt spelföretag baserat i Lesquin . Företaget är mest känt för WRC-spel , såväl som tillbehör till spelkonsoler .

Historik

Företaget grundades 1981 i Frankrike av Alain Falk och den nuvarande presidenten, Stephan Goller. Vanligtvis var företaget engagerat i produktionen av kvartsklockor, men 1993 gick det in i spelindustrin, och sedan, 1996, gick Bigben Interactive också in i produktionen av speltillbehör.

2001 beslutade företaget att göra tillbehör och publicera spel för Sega Dreamcast .

2003 började företaget göra sina egna spel. 2016 sålde Atari rättigheterna till " Test Drive " -serien av spel till Bigben Interactive [2] , och " V-Rall y"-serien såldes också till Bigben Interactive ungefär samtidigt utan att officiellt tillkännages [3] . Bigben Interactive avslöjade senare att en uppföljare till "Test Drive Unlimited"-serien skulle släppas 2019.

I maj 2018 köpte Bigben Interactive Cyanide Studio för 20 miljoner euro [4] . Fram till 2020 var Bigben Interactive ett dotterbolag till Bigben Group, som också hade tillsyn över Nacon, dess företag för videospelstillbehör. Den 11 februari 2020 tillkännagav moderbolaget sammanslagningen av Bigben Interactive och Nacon till en enda enhet kallad Nacon [5] .

2022 köper företaget Midgar Studio [6] [7] och Daedalic [8] .
