Vicarious Visions är ett amerikanskt företag för utveckling och förlag av videospel. De flesta av studions spel utvecklades för Game Boy Advance handhållna konsol . Studiokontoret ligger i Albany , New York .

Historik

Studion grundades av bröderna Bala 1990 när de gick på gymnasiet.

I januari 2005 förvärvades studion av förlaget Activision .

Den 5 april 2016 blev det känt att bröderna Bala lämnade studion [1] .

Den 8 december 2016 samarbetade studion med Bungie för att utveckla Destiny -serien [2] .

Den 22 januari 2021 blev studion en del av Blizzard Entertainment [3] [4] .

Den 20 februari 2021 tillkännagavs det på BlizzConline att Vicarious Visions, under Blizzard Entertainment, är i färd med att återsläppa Diablo II som Diablo II: Resurrected [5] .

Den 18 januari 2022 tillkännagav Microsoft köpet av Activision Blizzard för 68,7 miljarder dollar [6]
